New Staffs from 1st Department of GDE Practiced in Dongjiang Sugar Refinery Edit Date：2013/04/10

Eight new staffs of different disciplines, including sugar manufacturing, electrical and automation, from 1st department went to Dongjiang Sugar Refinery in Nanning for a month on-site study and practice, which started on February 26 to March 26. This was aiming to help the new ones have a good knowledge of what they were going to engaging in and learn to integrate theory with practice so that they could fit themselves for the job as soon as possible.

To guide them learn and practice purposely and effectively, directors and team leaders from the 1st department made a study plan in advance according the actual needs. As planned, they were assigned to different workshops to actually practice. New staffs of sugar manufacturing discipline were assigned in the pretreating and squeezing workshop and smelting workshop, focusing on studying and mastering technological process of these two workshops by balancing materials, waster, electricity and steam based on the report forms, and through balancing the equipments to confirm the proper type equipments in each workshop and to grasp the technology of workshop pipeline comprehensive layout. And those who were assigned in the power workshop emphasized on acquainting the refinery’s electrical system and electrical load, and specifically analyzed the electrical load to find out the advantages and disadvantages. And the others engaged in automation combined technology characteristics with measurement accuracy, installation condition, maintainance, cost and other circumstances to make the best choice of instruments, and considered the cabling and the control system of the whole plant based on the instruments of each section. Then after one month study and practice, the eight new staffs had a great progress both in mental and work as expected.
