Jamaican Sugar Factory Technical Upgrade Project Entered 2nd Phase Commissioning Stage Edit Date:2016/01/06
The Technical Upgrade Project of Pan Caribbean Sugar Company, invested by COMPLANT Group, EPC by COMPLANT and designed and tested by GDE, entered the 2nd phase commissioning stage. The whole project involves two factory divisions, Frome and Moni Musk.
On 31st Dec 2015, at 19:28 Jamaican local time, 5MW turbine generator unit was successfully synchronized. On the other hand, two boilers in Frome division of 1st and 2nd phases were successfully synchronized as well as two turbine generator units. The Boiler in Moni Musk of 2nd was successfully running and the power generation was planned to take place on 22nd Jan 2016. Therefore the project has fully entered the 2nd phase commissioning stage.
On New Year Day 2016, General Manager of COMPLANT Zhang Hui with 2 staff visited the site of Moni Musk division and brought his festive greetings to construction staff. Project Manager of COMPLANT Yu Shirui and Commissioning Director Liang Hongqiang briefly introduced the work done to Manager Zhang. Mr. Zhang presented his satisfaction with the current progress, mentioned requirements corresponding to the 2nd phase commissioning work and encouraged commissioning staff to make sure the work done with considerate quality for the following production in 2016.
