Successful Production for Vietnam Cao Tho Project; GDE supports the Green Belt and Road Initiative Edit Date:2019/04/25
Vietnam Cao Tho Domestic Waste Incineration Power Generation Project, designed by GDE and invested, constructed and operated by Everbright International, succeeded in synchronization and power generation on 26th Nov 2018. This is the first modern incineration power generation project in Vietnam, an important result of cooperation between China and Vietnam as well as a fresh practice of “the Green Belt and Road Initiative.
Special report about the project by CCTV
Advanced international standards were applied for process engineering, selection of equipment and building construction with the goal of “Making green benchmark project of Mekong delta”. The project has capacity of domestic waste 400t/d, providing 60,000,000kWh green power annually. It can annually save 25,000 ton standard coal and reduce 10,400 ton CO2 emission. The project has advanced incineration process and its flue emission complies with EU 2010 standard. This massively solved serious pollution on local environment and technical shortage of local landfill equipment, and improved local ecology.
“Garden Plant” Cao Tho project
After over 20-year development from GDE’s prospect on extension of domestic incineration power generation engineering since 1992, we become the top designer of the industry in China, holding various relevant achievements. The success of the project not only promoted GDE to integrate into the great strategy “the Belt and Road Initiative”, but also awarded new honor and mission to GDE.
