GDE Powered “One Belt One Road” African Green Energy Development——Angola Luena Power Plant Completion Ceremony Edit Date:2019/09/29
On 14th Sep 2019, Completion ceremony of Angola Distributed Power Plant EPC Project (Angola Project) Luena Power Plant was held with Angola President Lourenco and other government officers participating.
Angola Project, for which GDE played role as engineering design and project site management, includes 8 hybrid power plants and 3 diesel power plant with project sites covering 9 provinces and 11 cities around Angola. This project not only brought Angola systematic and optimized energy solution against its lack of power and poor grid construction, but also became an attempt of combination of traditional and new energy and a successful reference in distributed power generation industry.
Luena Plant is one of the three 20MW diesel power plant. 8 hybrid power plants which were designed and managed by GDE have been put in operation successfully since the first batch of acquisition of Certificate of Acceptance issued by the Employer and Ministry of Energy and Waterpower on July 2018. This ceremony marked that the last 3 power plants have been entered the final operation stage.
Africa is not only one of the most important poles of current global policy and economy structure but also an important role in “One Belt One Road” construction. GDE will firmly reflect national propose “One Belt One Road” and drive the development of Africa through the new competition ability of the distributed new energy power generation as an entry point.
