Green Building Double Certificates | GETRAG Co., Ltd New Technology Building Project Has Been Awarded LEED Gold Certificate. Edit Date：2020/06/16

       Recently, GETRAG Co., Ltd New Technology Building Project, designed by GDE, has been awarded LEED Gold Certificate.

       This project was awarded 3-Star Certificate of Green Building Design Label in March,2019 thus two certificates have been awarded to the project so far.

       The project locates in Nanchang Changbei Economic & Development District, Jiangxi Province, which is the office & training center of GETRAG Co., Ltd in China with floor area 25427.3 m3 and total height 22.3 m. The four overground floors are office area and the underground floor is garage and equipment area.

       The design of the project is in accordance with 3-Star Standard of Green building evaluation standard and US LEED Gold Standard. In the architecture design, daylight and natural ventilation have been sufficiently used with materials which have excellent thermal performance, to improve greening rate and comfort and reduce energy consumption of the building; structure design has been deeply optimized to reduce the unit consumption of steel and as the result to lower the cost; advanced equipment has been used in mechanical and electrical design; intelligent building control system has been adopted to manage the performance of HVAC and illumination to reduce energy consumption and operational cost. Payback period of equipment can achieve 4 years via efficient operation. The energy saving rate of the building has achieved 65% with solar water system and recycling of reclaimed water and rainwater, to save water, energy and even cost.
       Double certificates of the project are the reflection of recognition on GDE’s design capability. GDE will keep going on environment friendly design and meanwhile will strongly develop self-innovation ability to be able to offer environment friendly and advanced services such as engineering consultancy, design and EPC.
