Attention | Full Load Test Run Has Been Initially Done for Guangzhou 7th Resource Thermal Power Plant Phase 2 Kitchen & Organic Waste Treatment Project Edit Date:2021/06/16



       On 16th June full load test run was initially done for Guangzhou 7th Resource Thermal Power Plant Phase 2 Kitchen & Organic Waste Treatment Project, which was engineered by GDE. The daily kitchen waste treatment capacity reached 106.7 tons, exceeding the design value 100 ton per day. The process of "receiving + sorting and crushing + pulping and sanding and impurity removal + oil recovery and purification + anaerobic digestion" was adopted in the project.36,500 ton kitchen and organic waste per year can be treated with full load operation and the plant can generate about 2.9 million m3 biogas for combustion and power generation, and obtain 1040 ton crude oil per year after purification.

       As a key project of Guangzhou’s new round of domestic waste terminal treatment facilities, it can not only handle local food waste in Conghua District, but also receive the one from other administrative regions of Guangzhou, providing terminal guarantee for comprehensive and harmless treatment of kitchen waste in Guangzhou.

       The project will help Guangzhou to further achieve the resource utilization of kitchen waste, and at the same time contribute to the formation of whole chain classification system of household waste delivery, collection, transportation and treatment in Guangzhou.

       For recent years, GDE has been committed to technical research of kitchen waste disposal, and has continuously accumulated project experience, with remarkable engineering achievements.

       As the project designer, the company’s technical team has achieved performance requirement by the owner, properly handled the relationship among needs of the owner, investment, resource, technology, environment, standard and regulation and .strived to achieve integrated coordination by taking account of applicable, economic, nice looking, safety, saving energy, optimal land utilization, environment friendly and sustainable development. Architecture, process selection, automation control level, general layout, traffic organization, environmental protection indicator, odor treatment, environmental display, equipment selection, etc. in the project were engineered in accordance with requirements applied on first-class kitchen waste treatment plant in China. GDE has completed the engineering with high standards and quality to make due contributions to the level of domestic waste terminal processing of Guangzhou City.

       Kitchen waste after treatment can develop “big effect”. After preprocessing inorganic impurities and grease are removed and organic slurry after homogeneous enters liquid oxygen system for treatment. After anaerobic treatment organic biomass can be effectively recovered, and lots of biogas, for waste to energy project in Park phase II, is generated. The remaining biogas slurry is separated through dehydration section of biogas residue, as the remaining high-concentration sewage is processed by supporting sewage pretreatment system in the plant. Treated sewage is processed by leachate treatment system of the first-phase of waste to energy project.

       Impurities and gravel generated during the pretreatment of kitchen waste are sent to the park’s thermal power plant for incineration, and the crude oil generated can be used as raw material of biodiesel for sale.
